Cargo Train from Turkey To Pakistan
This blog (read in Urdu) is a complete guide about the Cargo train between Turkey and Pakistan restored after a gap of 09 years. The train will depart from Istanbul for Islamabad on 4 March 2021. According to Pakistan’s Ministry of Railways announces a cargo train transporting commercial goods will depart Istanbul for Islamabad on March 4 and reach Pakistan by Iran.
The freight train, which will start its route from Istanbul on March 4, will reach the dry port of Islamabad on 16 March, after 12 days later. The train will travel from the Iranian city of Zahedan to Quetta and then to Islamabad. The train will travel a total distance of 6,500 km in 12 days.

Pakistan has talked to the Economic Coordination Organization (ECO) about the freight train arriving from Turkey. Pakistani authorities also have been informed by Iranian officials.
Cargo Train Pakistan to Turkey
The train from Istanbul to Islamabad will return on 19 March 2021. Pakistan Railways Minister Azam Khan Swati will accommodate a cargo train from Istanbul.
Reminder: The first cargo train between Turkey and Pakistan was started on independence day of Pakistan on 14 August 2009. The last cargo train departed Islamabad for Istanbul on 5th November 2011. Under the cargo train service started in 2009 and 6 cargo trains arrived in Pakistan from Turkey. The last cargo train from Turkey arrived on 9 December 2011, after which the cargo train service between the two countries was discontinued.
The cargo train, which will reopen a decade later, will leave on the first Thursday of every month. The length of this train will be 420 meters (1378 foot). Under new cooperation between Iran, Turkey and Pakistan, a cargo train from Istanbul railway station will travel 90 hours to Iran and 135 hours from Iran to Pakistan.
