All travellers who have been in Pakistan, India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka in the previous 14 days, they will not be allowed to enter Dubai.
All travellers with a valid United Arab Emirates (UAE) visa are allowed to travel to and through Dubai from Pakistan, India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, but under some conditions:

All travellers arriving in UAE must fulfil these conditions:
- UAE visa holders must apply for pre-entry approval from GDRFA (General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs)
- Those travellers with UAE visa sponsored by ‘Dubai Expo 2020’ do not require GDRFA approval to enter UAE.
- Travellers must have a valid COVID-19 certificate issued within 48 hours among the time of sample collection scheduled flight departure. A COVID-19 PCR reports with a QR code linked from certified labs will be accepted.
- Also, travellers must complete a COVID-19 PCR rapid test at the departure airport. The Rapid PCR test should be conducted within 6 hours earlier to departure. The Rapid antigen test will not be recognized.
- Passengers must complete a COVID-19 PCR test on arrival in Dubai.
- UAE Nationals do not need above mentioned requirements but a COVID-19 PCR test will be taken on arrival in UAE.
1. Specific rules for Pakistani Travellers to UAE
Some Rules especially for Pakistani are, to the testing requirement for travellers travelling to or through Dubai, it will be effective from 27 August 2021, all travellers travelling to Dubai from Pakistan, and all travellers transferring through Dubai from Pakistan to China or Hong Kong are compulsory to take a COVID-19 Rapid PCR test at the departure airport before their scheduled flight. The Rapid PCR test can be conducted within 6 hours of departure at the departure airport.
2. UAE Transit passengers
All travellers must complete all the requirements of their final destination and shows a negative COVID-19 PCR test certificate for a test taken 72 hours or less before departure or as required by their final destination.
