FREE TRANSIT VISA OF MALAYSIA?

This blog is based on my experience of getting a FREE transit visa of Malaysia. My layover in Malaysia at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA2) was 13 hours. I have one PNR or booking reference number ticket. Both flights were AirAsia Airlines and I was eligible for all transit visa requirements which are mentioned below very clearly. Pakistani Nationals
PAKISTANI Nationals and certain countries do not enjoy visa-free entry but may still get a free transit visa to Malaysia for stays up to 120 hours under some conditions.
Indians, Bangladesh & Sri Lanka Nationals
PAKISTANI Nationals and the following countries are only eligible when holding a visa or a residence permit issued by Australia, China, Japan, New Zealand, South Korea, Taiwan, or the United States, and are departing to or arriving from these countries. They may only arrive and depart from either the main terminal or the low-cost carrier terminal (KLIA2) unless they hold a residence permit.
• INDIA
• BANGLADESH
• SRI LANKA
Nationals of some countries that do not enjoy visa-free entry may still acquire a free transit pass for stays up to 120 hours when transiting through Kuala Lumpur International Airport. They must hold an onward ticket departing Malaysia from Kuala Lumpur in 120 hours, and the flight departing Malaysia must either be operated by Air Asia or Malaysia Airlines.
Nationals of the following countries are eligible:
• CHINA
• BHUTAN
• MYANMAR
• NEPAL
OTHER NATIONALS
Nationals of other non-visa-free countries can transit through Kuala Lumpur International Airport for a maximum of 24 hours, however, they are not allowed to switch between the main terminal and KLIA2 unless they hold a valid visa.

پاکستان اور دیگر ممالک کے لئے ملائیشیا کا مفت ٹرانزٹ ویزا؟
پاکستانی شہری اور مندرجہ ذیل ممالک صرف اس وقت اہل ہیں جب آسٹریلیا ، چین ، جاپان ، نیوزی لینڈ ، جنوبی کوریا ، تائیوان یا امریکہ کے ذریعہ جاری کردہ ویزا یا رہائشی اجازت نامہ رکھتے ہوں اور ان ممالک سے روانہ ہو رہے ہوں یا وہاں پہنچ رہے ہوں۔
وہ صرف مرکزی ٹرمینل یا کم لاگت والے کیریئر ٹرمینل 2 سے ہی پہنچ سکتے ہیں اور روانہ ہوسکتے ہیں ، جب تک کہ وہ رہائشی اجازت نامہ نہ رکھتے ہوں۔
• بھارت • بنگلہ دیش • سری لنکا
پاکستانی شہری اور بعض ممالک کے لیے ویزا فری نہیں ہے، پھر بھی کچھ شرائط کے تحت 120 گھنٹے تک قیام کے لئے مفت ٹرانزٹ پاس حاصل کرسکتے ہیں۔
کوالالمپور انٹرنیشنل ایئرپورٹ سے گزرتے وقت بعض ممالک کے شہری جو ویزا فری اندراج سے لطف اندوز نہیں ہوتے ہیں انھیں 120 گھنٹے تک مفت ٹرانزٹ پاس مل سکتا ہے۔ انھیں لازمی طور پر 120 گھنٹوں میں کوالالمپور سے ملائشیا جانے والے ٹکٹ کا انعقاد کرنا چاہئے ، اور ملائیشیا جانے والی پرواز کا سفر یا تو ایئر ایشیاء یا ملائشیا ایئر لائن کے ذریعہ ہونا چاہئے۔مندرجہ ذیل ممالک کے شہری اہل ہیں۔
• چین• بھوٹان• میانمار• نیپال
دیگر ممالک
دوسرے غیر ویزا سے مستثنیٰ ممالک کے شہری کوالالمپور بین الاقوامی ہوائی اڈے کے ذریعے زیادہ سے زیادہ 24 گھنٹوں کے لئے ٹرانزٹ کرسکتے ہیں ، تاہم ان کو اجازت نہیں ہے کہ جب تک وہ درست ویزا نہ رکھیں ، مرکزی ٹرمینل اور کے ایل آئی اے 2 کے درمیان تبادلہ کریں۔
