UAE Transit visa 48 hours

The UAE transit visa for 48 hours not FREE anymore. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) issues two kinds of transit visas. One is 48 hours transit visa. The Transit visas for 48 hours have a cost of 55 AED. It issues those passengers who are transiting through Abu Dhabi airport. (The entry & exit must be through Abu Dhabi Airport). You need to apply for this visa online through UAE-based airlines (Etihad Airways, Emirates Airlines, Fly Dubai, and Air Arabia).

This visa is only for 48 hours from arriving in the UAE. And you have to leave the UAE within 48 hours of the entrance. This transit visa counts in hours not days.

Important Note:

This transit must be applied in advance and approved before arriving in UAE. Also, this transit visa is not extendable. Once a transit visa of 48 hours is issued, it cannot be extended to a 96-hour transit visa.

UAE Transit visa 96 hours

The Transit visa of 96 hours is not free. It has a fee of AED 217 for passengers transiting through the Abu Dhabi airport. You need this visa in advance through a UAE-based airline. Transit visas of 96 hours are not extendable or renewable. The validity of this visa is 96 hours from entry into UAE. It means you must leave the UAE within a specified (96 hours) time from arrival.

• A Passport must be valid for at least six months

Important note:

A departure fee of AED 30 is charged to every passenger passing through the UAE’s airports.

Indian nationals who hold an ordinary passport and have a visit visa of the USA or green card of the USA or residence visa of UK or residence visa of Europe.
