Japan visit visa from Pakistan

The following are the basic requirements for a visa:

• One Application form
  The application must be filled out and can be downloaded online or obtained from the VFS application center.
• Passport
  Passport valid for not less than six (6) months until your Japan trip ends
• Picture
  One passport-size picture
• CNIC
  Need a copy of the CNIC of the student’s ID Card in case of the student
• Flight itinerary issued by the Airline or any travel agency
• Flight Reservation
  A dummy flight reservation is fine, no need to book in advance
• Hotel Booking
  Simply book hotels/hostels from booking.com
• Bank Statement
  A 06-month bank statement is required with a balance, as you will cover all your travel expenses in Japan
• Itinerary
  Make an itinerary or a travel document recording a journey. which mentions all your trip details, e.g, flight, hotels, attractions to visit, etc…
• Student ID Card Copy: In case you are a student.

Other Supporting Documents

Proof of employment is a letter obtained from where you are doing your job/work, whereas proof of enrolment is obtained from your educational institute where you are studying.

Important Points

• The visa application processing time depends on the applicant’s visa application case. We usually take 5 working days to process it.
• visa application submission time is 09:00 to 11:00 from Monday to Friday, except for public holidays in Pakistan & Japan.
• The passport collection time is 14:30 to 15:50 from Monday to Friday.
• Please submit your application to the Consulate General of Japan, Karachi if the residents are from Sindh and Baluchistan.
• We don’t mention the reason why your visa application is rejected. However, you can apply again after 6 months.

Japan visa from Pakistan price

Now, there are two kinds of Charges: one is Japan visa fees, and the other is VFS charges. If your visa is rejected, the Japan Visa fees will be refunded, but VFS charges are non-refundable. The charges for Japan tourist visa, multi-entry visa, transit visas, and VFS charges follow.

Japan visa fees for a tourist visa are PKR 5770, and VFS Charges are PKR 2500 (including all charges) for a single visa application. It means the total visa fee is PKR 8270.

They will issue a Japan visa in 06 working days.

For Pakistani nationals, the visa fee is waived. Applicants are required to pay only the VFS service charges.
