In this blog post, we travelled a group of four peoples and this is about Jeju to Kuala Lumpur by AirAsia flight review. This video is based on my experience of a flight journey from Jeju Island to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia during COVID-19 in February 2020.

We arrived early (3 hours before the flight) at Jeju International Airport. It was a little difficult to find International departure which is located on the 3rd floor of the domestic terminal but with fewer signs for defining International departure. We already got the eVisa of Malaysia which is mandatory for Pakistanis when flying from Korea to Malaysia and it is exempted under some conditions, but we need a visa/eVisa because we are not eligible for those conditions.

As we went to the check-in counter, they said: we don’t accept soft copy (we have eVisa on a mobile phone), we accept printed copy of eVisa. The staff was so friendly and they send us to the information counter where we printed our eVisa. You can print up to 3 pages for free at the information counter of Jeju International Airport.

IMMIGRATION

After check-in, security check, we arrived at the immigration counter and the staff just took our passport and did something on the computer and said go with no stamp. No stamps while entering South Korea at immigration, they are just given a small slip which mentioned one-month time duration of visa validity. They didn’t stamp their passport while entering and exit.

FLIGHT TICKET PRICE

We searched different flights including Korean Air, all were so expensive, and over Rs 50,000. We just find AirAsia which price was Rs 12,000. AirAsia is a low-cost carrier airline. The flight journey time was 6 hours and the plane is almost empty, with few passengers. We booked a pre-order meal just for Rs 660/-
