Qibao Ancient Town Shanghai
Qibao Old Street is a historic area of Qibao in the Minhang District of Shanghai, China. Qibao means, “Seven Treasures” in Chinese. Qibao (七宝) is an old water town located about 20 km from downtown shanghai which has a very popular food street. The narrow pedestrian streets are packed tight with shops. The North end is mostly souvenirs and stuff while the other side is foodie heaven.
How to get to Qibao Ancient Town from Shanghai??

By Metro: – Take Metro Line 9 and get off at Qibao station. Leave from Exit 2 and walk south for around ten minutes to the old town.
Entrance Fee: – Free to enter the town, but visitors need to buy entrance tickets for the attractions inside. A combo ticket costs CNY 30 and a separate ticket for each attraction costs CNY 5 to 10.
Opening Hours: – All day long. Attractions and indoor exhibitions are open from 9:00 to 18:00.
Shanghai Metro is the biggest metro network in the world. It has 17 metro lines excluding the PJ line and the maglev train. Maglev train is the first fastest train in the world which has a speed of 430 km/h (see video Shanghai Maglev Train).
